Transparency about how we use cookies

    Version: 17 August 2026 — 1.1

    What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device when you visit our website. They help us make the website function properly and improve your experience.

    Which cookies do we use?

    Functional cookies (always active)

These cookies are necessary for our website to function:

    • Session cookies: For maintaining your session
    • Security cookies: For protection against attacks
    • Language preference: For remembering your language setting
    • Consent cookies: For remembering your cookie preferences

    Analytics cookies (optional)

With your consent, we use these cookies to understand how visitors use our website:

    • Google Analytics: For analyzing website traffic
    • Performance monitoring: For improving website performance

    Marketing cookies (optional)

With your consent, we use these cookies for marketing purposes:

    • Social media pixels: For showing relevant advertisements
    • Retargeting cookies: For showing personalized content
    • Conversion tracking: For measuring marketing effectiveness

    Chat and support cookies (optional)

With your consent for marketing cookies we load Intercom, our chat and support tool. Intercom sets cookies to remember your conversation and to make the chat work. Without your consent Intercom is not loaded and no Intercom cookies are set.

    • Intercom: For live chat and customer support

If you are signed in we pass your name and email address to Intercom, so an agent can help you without asking you to identify yourself again. Intercom processes this data on servers in the United States, which is a transfer outside the EEA. We never pass medical data or test results to Intercom. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie preferences, which switches the chat off.

Signing in with Google or Apple

If you choose to sign in or register with Google or Apple, a sign-in window from that provider is loaded. Google or Apple respectively learns that you are signing in to LiveLong, and returns your name and email address to us. This only happens if you click that button; if you use a password, nothing is sent to Google or Apple.

    Other third parties

Besides cookies, our website uses a number of services that receive data when you open a page or use a feature. Not all of them set cookies, but they do receive data about you, which is why we name them here.

    • Sentry (error reporting): receives technical error data, your IP address, browser and the page an error occurred on. Needed to find and fix faults. Servers in the EU (Germany).
    • PDOK Locatieserver (api.pdok.nl): receives your postcode and house number when you enter an address, so we can fill in the street and city for you. PDOK is a Dutch government service; data stays in the Netherlands.
    • OpenStreetMap (map on /labs): map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap, which thereby receives your IP address and the map area you are viewing.
    • ipapi.co (approximate location): only when you click "use my location" and your browser does not provide one do we request an estimate based on your IP address. That service then receives your IP address. Servers in the United States. If you do not click that button, this does not happen.

We pass no medical data or test results to any of these parties.

    Payment provider cookies

When you purchase a package through Mollie, they may place functional cookies that are necessary for processing your payment. These cookies are only used during and shortly after the payment process.

    Your rights

You have the following rights regarding cookies:

    • Reject: You can reject analytical and marketing cookies
    • Change: You can adjust your preferences at any time
    • Withdraw: You can withdraw your consent at any time
    • Information: You can request information about the cookies we use
